Notes: Hillhead HSFP became an open club in 1969; the club’s name changes to Hillhead RFC to reflect this. Club and tournament defunct 1989. Hillhead merged with Jordanhill RFC to form Hillhead Jordanhill. The new team hosts the Hillhead Jordanhill Sevens.

  1. 1970 The Winners in the tournament at Hughenden were West of Scotland who beat Glasgow Academicals in the final.
    West were led by Lionel Weston at Scrum half.
