From the Glasgow Herald of 2 September 1968:

A strong Glasgow HSFP won the Sculthorp Trophy in the Cambuslang tournament, which was played at Westerlands because the promoting club’s ground is under development.

Glasgow HSFP completed a tournament aggregate of 97 points to 9 with a 31-0 victory over Perthshire Academicals in the final. M.D. Hunter scored 3 tries in the final; E.T.C. Kennedy, W.H. Howie, I.F. Morrison, and G. Ash had one each and Kennedy converted 5.
