Boys Brigade Sevens

Run by: Jedburgh Boys Brigade

Where: Poyndfauld

Winners play for: Silver medals

Notes: Second prize: silver scarf pins; Third prize: Waist belts. Schools and Under 16 sevens are somewhat out of scope for this site; however this Scottish Boys Brigade tournament is notable for it’s early appearance in Sevens history. The 4 May 1895 date makes it younger than the Glasgow Academicals Sevens (1908) or Langholm Sevens (1908).
