Notes: The Aberdeen University Athletic Association was founded late in 1889. The following year it began Sports Days; among the events were rugby union sevens. The Sevens were usually played over two days; Friday night and Saturday afternoon was the final. The Sevens tournament seems to be dropped from the Sports Days from 1895.
