Run by: Dundee Rugby. On the start of the tournament the clubs Dundee Morgan (Academy) RFC and Dundee HSFP clubs merged to form Dundee Rugby. The senior tournament was played at the Morgan ground; the junior tournament at the HSFP ground.

Where: Forfar Road

Winners play for: Bill Dryden Trophy (Mens), Amanda Wilson Family Law Trophy (Womens)

Notes: The tournament is planned to announce the merger of Dundee HSFP and Dundee Morgan Academy RFC into one single Dundee City club.

8 Womens teams entered, split in two groups. Group A was:- Caithness, Dunfermline, Dundee Valkyries, and Perthshire. Group B was:- Kirkcaldy, Dundee University, Strathmore and Howe Harlequins.

16 Mens teams entered, split in four groups. Group A was:- Dundee (HSFP) 1, Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, Strathmore, and Carnoustie HSFP. Group B was:- Blazin Squad, Gordonians, Quarmhub’s All Stars, and Panmure. Group C was:- Aberdeen GSFP, Madras, Kirkcaldy, Hawaii Try 0. Group D was:- Fylde Hawks, Howe of Fife, Dundee University and Dundee (HSFP) 2.

Kirkcaldy Men could not attend, but their place was taken by Stobswell RFC of Dundee; the Perthshire Women could not attend and the Dundee Valkyries organised a 2nd 7s to play in the women’s section. The groups were then re-jigged.
