Run by:

Where: Murrayfield (previously Inverleith)

Winners play for: Miller Cup (since 1953). Named after the Edinburgh Lord Provost Sir James Miller.

Notes: Charity tournament, originally in aid of the Edinburgh Infirmary (from 1925). Charity donor changed to the Red Cross in 1940 and remained throughout the Second World War. A decision in 1948 meant the tournament lost it’s Infimary tag and was instead run for the club’s benefit. Previously also known as the Inverleith Sevens and now the Murrayfield Sevens. Tournament began in 1922.
